THERMOFORMING

We thermoform the following plastic materials: PC- PMMA- PVC- PS- ABS – PE300- PP,… Thicknesses of plastic plates from 0.75mm to 8mm and plate dimensions of 1500 x 2000mm and a depth up to 640mm.

We carry out the design of molds, jigs and tools. Depending on the volume, we define single or multi-cavity molds.

CHARACTERISTICS

Thermoforming is a technique for shaping plastic parts: a plastic sheet is placed in an oven and then inserted into a thermoformer. The plate is sucked on a shaping mold. Once cooled and in its final shape, the part can be machined, assembled and undergo finishing operations.

Thermoforming is a plastic processing technology suitable for small and medium series. Tooling costs and their rapid implementation are economical compared to injection or rotational molding.
